Community Radio Rocks!
‘BURN’ is the Scottish word for stream & reflects the Maniototo areas strong Scottish heritage. Our local townships and streams … Wedderburn, Hogburn, Gimmerburn, Kyeburn … all link our people, our stock, our land and our livelihood. Burn strives to link our community together, providing essential information, entertainment and positive messages to our listeners.
Burn is the common ‘stream’ running through the Maniototo and beyond. The Burn team is built of both new announcers and one who has been part of the station since the very beginning! We are the ‘essential’ communication tool to families, elderly, whanau, youth.
