CELEBRATING 11 years of Art Deco Festivals in Ranfurly.

               To be held over the last weekend of February 2011 (25th – 27th).

Get a group of friends together and come and have some fun in Ranfurly! This years’ Ranfurly Art Deco Festival has a ‘war time’ theme. Come and join us to celebrate our art deco heritage…

Friday 25 Feb – the ‘war time’ cabaret in the Maniototo Stadium (7.30pm) a wonderful evening of dancing, food & wine.   SOLD OUT!!

Saturday 26 Feb – relax and be entertained at our street party from 12 midday – continuous music, art exhibition, market stalls, vintage cars and much more.

Just some of the artists include the Canterbury Regiment Army band, Southern Dixie Jazz band, and ‘Marilyn Munro’!

 Enjoy croquet, pentanque,  fabulous food & wine, fashion, classic car parade, golf putting course and street entertainers.  Explore a variety of markets at the Saturday street festival including local and visiting displays. This iconic Maniototo event is for the whole family as well as Art Deco enthusiasts.  Kids entertainment includes free pool entry, treasure hunt, noddy train, facepainting and colouring competitions.  The evening culminates in our evening street concert with The Christchurch All Start Big Band in the main street from 5-8pm …  PROGRAMME
